How Hyle Atlas handles browser storage today, and how account or analytics data would be treated if those features ship.

Current MVP
Hyle Atlas is currently an MVP using public catalog data from the Atlas API. The site does not currently provide production accounts, uploads, billing, or server-side simulation execution.
Likes and saves are stored only in your browser’s localStorage so the interface can demonstrate future product behavior. That state is not sent to a server, is not synced across devices, and will be lost if you clear site data or switch browsers.
The MVP does not intentionally set tracking or advertising cookies, and it does not use analytics or advertising scripts.
Information We May Collect Later
If accounts, publishing, collections, or billing are added, Hyle Atlas may collect profile information, authentication identifiers, simulation metadata, uploaded files, usage events, and payment-related records handled through a payment provider.
If analytics are added, they should be documented here with the provider, purpose, retention period, and opt-out controls.
How Information Would Be Used
Information should be used to operate the product, attribute simulations, maintain provenance, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and communicate service updates.
Hyle Atlas should not sell personal information. Any future sharing with processors such as hosting, analytics, storage, authentication, or payments should be listed here.
